The tables below give yearly averages for snowfall at cities, towns and parks in my forecast coverage area

 

The totals for amount of snow and how many days it snows at least 0.1 inches (0.25 centimeters). The numbers are annual averages of snowfall measurements made during 1981 to 2010.

 The snowfall totals are annual averages based on weather data collected from 1981 to 2010 for the NOAA National Climatic Data Center.

 The Tug Hill Plateau:
 
A  50-mile wedge sits  east and southeast  from Lake Ontario's eastern shore. It usually gets about 300 inches of snow a year. The hamlet of Hooker holds the state's one-year record with 466.9 inches, in winter 1976-77.
