Something has come up, so this post will be very quick and short. I will try to release another post at least on the tropics later today.
The surface chart shows high pressure slipping to the east As a trough continues to move through the region. This will keep us unsettled for today and tonight with rain showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could be strong to severe. The SPC has a marginal risk For severe storms over part of the northern middle of Atlantic.
Wednesday a cold will be dropping into the region bringing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. The cold front is going to stall over the region keeping us unsettled For tomorrow night.
Then on Thursday a warm front will be moving across the region bringing warmer temperatures and higher levels of humidity. The warm front will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Some of these Thunderstorms could be strong to severe, With a chance for damaging winds, hail, Frequent lightning and locally heavy rain.
Friday we will see another cold front move through the region bringing a chance for some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. This cold front we'll begin clearing the region on Saturday. With clearing developing west to east as high pressure builds in behind the departing cold front much of Saturday, Sunday into the first part of next week. looks to be dry with seasonally cool temperatures. Then on Tuesday another shortwave trough will be approaching bringing a chance for a few rain showers.

Gabrielle is still a cat 4 hurricane with max sustained winds 140 mph, minimum central pressure of 949 mb, she is heading out to sea on a northeast track at 13 mph.
Invest 93L has a 90% chance of becoming a tropical depression in 7 days
Invest 94L has a 60% chance of development over the next 7 days.
